The Club holiday, based at Hotel Westport 11th-16th April, was enjoyed by a group of 41, with various walks being led by members. We had wonderful weather throughout and the drying room remained unused! After various attempts around Croagh Patrick on the first day, most of the group spent a day on Clare Island. A large contingent climbed Diamond Hill following a coach trip via the scenic route. On the final day, 19 members walked on the ancient pilgrim route from Ballintubber Abbey to Aughagower while others walked in the Nephin Beg mountains. As always, members displayed their talents in evening entertainments. The food (including packed lunches) and accommodation was excellent throughout, and some are asking for a return visit!
