Membership

The Countrywide Hillwalkers Association currently has over 150 members, from all walks of life. We are a properly constituted club with a committee and officers, which are elected by members at an AGM which is held each year in November. The club also has a Walks Committee, which arranges the Saturday walks for each of five grades. A calendar is published three times a year with details of walks for all the grades along with the walk leader’s contact number.

Membership Fees

Our current fees are €25.00 as an entrance fee for new members, and the annual subscription is €25.00. CHA contributes to Mountain Rescue, Country Air Association, Sunshine Homes and Mountain Meitheal.
