Exporting a .gpx file from Hiiker

  • Sign on to your Hiiker account, using the Hiiker app on a mobile device or on the Hiiker website (hiiker.app), using a web browser.
  • Select ‘My Hikes’ from the menu on the home screen to display the walks saved in your account.
  • Locate the walk you wish to share from the list of saved walks.
  • If using the website, click on the three dots to the right of the walk title and select the ‘Export GPX’ entry. The .gpx file will then be downloaded to your Downloads folder
  • If using the mobile app, tap on the walk entry to select it , then tap the three dots on the menu displayed below the walk title and select the ‘Export GPX’ entry. Choose the storage location for the downloaded file and press ‘SAVE’ – the .gpx file will be saved in that location.
  • Attach the .gpx file to an email, adding any notes that you would like to be saved with the walk, and send the email to ad***@*ha.ie.
